Szymon Byliński is a director of the Department of Electromobility and Hydrogen Economy at the Ministry of Climate and Environment and a graduate of the National School of Public Administration. As an employee of the Ministry of Economy and then the Ministry of Energy, he was responsible for regulations regarding fuel market, alternative fuel infrastructure and fuel quality. He was a chairman of the ministerial team on fuel quality and alternative fuels.
He is a co-author of key documents for the development of electromobility in Poland: the Act of January 11 on Electromobility and Alternative Fuels, and the National Framework for Alternative Fuels Infrastructure. Currently, as a Director of the Department, he has designed and has been responsible for the process of adoption of the Polish Hydrogen Strategy 2030 with an Outlook up to 2040 by the Council of Ministers, and is a co-author of the Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy in Poland.
