Graduate of the Faculty of Chemical Technology at Poznań University of Technology (2010). In 2014, he received the academic title of doctor of chemical sciences in chemical technology, and in 2019 his post-doctoral degree in science, discipline of chemical sciences. He has been a professor at Poznań University of Technology since 2020.
He has received numerous honors and awards, including the Scientific Scholarship of the City of Poznań (2014), the Prize of the City of Poznań for an outstanding doctoral thesis (2016), the Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists (2018), the Prize of the Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers (2020), the Prize of the Polish Chemical Society for outstanding scientific achievements (2020) and many others. A respected and award-winning educator.
Co-author of more than 120 publications in JCR-listed journals, several chapters in books and 7 patents (bibliometric parameters: h-index=37, his works have been cited more than 4000 times). Manager or contractor of many scientific and research projects funded by, among others, the National Science Centre, National Centre for Research and Development and Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Expert of the National Science Centre. Coordinator of a number of projects in and beyond Poznań University of Technology, including Leader of the 3W Interdisciplinary Innovation Center. Research interests of Łukasz Klapiszewski, Professor at Poznań University of Technology, are related to inorganic chemical technology in the broadest sense; low- and/or zero-waste technologies; green chemistry; design, characterization and application of functional materials/biomaterials/hybrid materials; use of polymer composites, cementitious composites and biocomposites.
