Magdalena Rzeszotarska, BEng, PhD

I have been interested in new technologies, materials science, renewable energy sources, hydrogen storage and power generation for more than a decade. Currently, I am an area leader and head of the Hydrogen Storage Technology research group in the Łukasiewicz Research Network at the Electrical Engineering Institute in Warsaw. In April 2022, I received my PhD in the discipline of materials engineering – hydrogen storage materials specialty. I have great scientific and engineering versatility. During my studies and professional work, I have participated in numerous works and projects throughout the field of materials and power engineering. They have ranged from the study of the physicochemical, mechanical or corrosion properties of various types of engineering materials, through the design and manufacture of materials using incremental and classical techniques, to participation in the development of Poland’s first hydrogen car prototype (“Premier” Hydrocar) and research into materials and technologies for hydrogen and renewable energy storage. My professional work and internships have solidified the knowledge I gained during my studies in materials engineering and chemistry, and additionally taught me to be conscientious and thorough. I have twice been a member of an accredited laboratory.
Working in the profession, I am constantly improving my engineering, technical and scientific skills. I have personally been a manager of four scientific research projects. To prove a scientific result of my work, I can refer to 9 articles in various journals that I have co-authored, 3 patents, 1 patent application and numerous conference presentations.
