Andrzej Ziółkowski, BEng, PhD, DSc

Assistant Professor at the Institute of Combustion Engines and Powertrains at the Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering, Poznan University of Technology. His scientific activities include the broadly taken issue of reducing the negative impact of motorization on the environment. He conducts emission tests under actual operating conditions using state-of-the-art testing equipment. He also works on methods for recovering energy from exhaust gas and conducts works aimed to implement hydrogen as an energy source in motor vehicles. He participated in works on the development of the Polish Hydrogen Strategy until 2030. He is an author of over 90 scientific publications. He participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences. He has worked on more than 20 research and development projects and he is a manager of one of them. Most of them were of an implementation nature. The results of his research works have been repeatedly recognized and awarded. He has performed a number of scientific and research studies for external entities. He has very extensive experience in working with industry representatives. He is a member of the Polish Scientific Society of Combustion Engines, the expert team of the National Center for Research and Development, and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
