Ph.D. Eng. Monika Żubrowska-Sudoł, university professor, is Head of the Department of Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment of the Warsaw University of Technology. She graduated from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology in 1999 with the title of Master Engineer of Environmental Biotechnology. In 2003, she obtained the degree of doctor of technical sciences, and in 2014 the degree of habilitated doctor in the scope of technical sciences, in the discipline of environmental engineering. Her primary area of professional interest is circular economy in reference to water-sewage systems, with consideration of recovery of resources and energy. She has been the author or co-author of more than 250 papers, including 130 published in the form of a monograph, articles, and presentations and posters for scientific-technical conferences. The remaining unpublished papers include expert opinions, reports from implemented research projects, and reviews of scientific publications, research projects, and habilitation and doctoral dissertations. She is Deputy Head of the working group of the Circular Economy National Smart Specialisation.
