A sociologist, a philosopher, a university titular professor affiliated with Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. His research interests are related to the areas of sociology of health, disease and medicine, as well as science and technology studies. He is currently conducting research on public perception of infectious diseases and conflicts around air pollution. He has been involved in many national and international research projects.
