Katarzyna Iwińska

Doctor of sociology, creator of educational solutions for environmental protection and sustainable development. She is involved in the perception of social changes in the environment, has carried out research on major investment projects (nuclear power plants, geothermal energy, shale gas) and on the energy transition and decarbonization, including hydrogen. Expert and researcher in national and international projects on energy transition and environmental democracy.

She heads the project “Strategy for the Security of Hydrogen Technologies in Poland for 2022-2030” funded by MEIN.

She has authored  more than 30 academic papers on environmental democracy, education for sustainable development, subjective agency, public participation and environmental activism.
