Head of Łomazy Commune. Jerzy Czyżewski has been involved in public administration since the beginning of his career. Graduate of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, Faculty of Law and Administration and of a postgraduate program at the University of Warsaw in the field of the Regional Development Academy. Currently he is completing an MBA program. For 9 years he has been the Head of the Łomazy Municipality. His career to date includes , i.a., financial management, implementation of projects with external funding, mainly those relating to infrastructure, and soft projects. Awarded the bronze medal for services to firefighting (2019) and the badge of honor “Zasłużony Strażak Powiatu Bialskiego” [Distinguished Firefighter of Bialski County] (2021), as well as rewards and honors for raising external funds for investments, cultural activities, support for senior citizens, NGOs and scouts.
He comes from the village of Jusaki-Zarzeka in the Łomazy Commune.
