Professionally, since 2017, I have been working at the Łukasiewicz Research Network—Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials, occupying the position of Acting Leader of Materials Engineering Research Group. During my professional life, I gained experience in the fields of materials and environmental engineering. The opportunity of active participation in R&D projects, which were carried out by the Research Group, led me to instill new topics focusing on the utilization, refinement, and modification of industrial wastes for the purpose of their use as an additive to binding materials. As a co-author of 12 R&D elaborations, I cooperate with industrial parties such as PGE Odział Elektrownia w Turowie, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., Tauron Bioeko, PCC Rokita, and Cementowania Odra. Since September 2019, I have been involved in the realization of the project funded together by NCBiR (the National Centre for Research and Development) and KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. as part of a joint venture for research and development for the non-ferrous metals industry. In 2022, I gained a PhD in the scientific disciplines of civil engineering, transportation, and geodesy. I had defended the doctoral thesis, “Lightweight concrete based on reactive powders”. I am the author and co-author of 21 publications, of which seven are indexed on international databases like Scopus and Web of Science. These papers are published in renowned journals like Construction and Building Materials, Materials, and Cement Lime Concrete. Also, I am a co-author of a chapter concerning low-emission geopolymer binders and concrete, published by the London publisher IntechOpen.
