Piotr Kamedulski has been employed at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Modern Technologies since 2021 and at the Faculty of Chemistry since 2019. He defended his doctoral thesis in 2021 under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Jerzy P. Łukaszewicz. He works in researching carbon materials for potential different applications.
He has published more than 20 articles in journals, 5 chapters in a monograph, reviewed more than 120 scientific articles, 20 European projects in the EU AMULET program, he is the co-author of 2 patents and 10 patent applications, manager of 14 grants funded by NCN, MEiN and contractor in 5 grants funded by NCN, NCBR and MEiN, participation in more than 75 scientific conferences, received more than 50 awards and honors. He has completed a number of foreign internships and research stays, including at the University of Porto and the University of Granada. Member of the Polish Carbon Society since 2018. In addition, he co-founded the WeTheGraphene spin-off company at Nicolaus Copernicus University to further commercialize his results.
