Angelika Szufel is an attorney and counsel in the fields of Energy and Infrastructure at CMS law office. She also coordinates the work of the ESG team at CMS in Poland.
Angelika comprehensively advises on conducting internal ESG and Taxonomy audits for the preparation of non-financial reports and sustainability strategies. She also conducts numerous ESG trainings for companies in the real estate and construction sectors. She is vice chairwoman of the energy committee of the Polish Association of Construction Employers (PZPB) and chairs the ESG expert panel at PZPB. She is an expert in legal counselling related to the organization of infrastructural investment projects, including those carried out under the public procurement law and the PPP formula. Her professional experience includes handling projects in the rail transportation sector, where Angelika advised public and other entities on major infrastructure investments related to the construction of train stations and handling contracts related to the delivery of trains.
Angelika has also experience in handling projects in the road, aviation, public utilities, and energy sectors, where she advised on the preparation of proceedings, including the drafting of the contract, for the procurement of a contractor for the construction of one of the largest power units in Europe, and subsequently advised on the contract’s implementation. What is more, Angelika is experienced in advising engineers in connection with construction projects and in negotiating contractual terms for the engineering design of one of the largest concert halls in Poland.
